I have been dying to try birria for the longest time and finally decided I wouldn't put it off any longer. I selected this establishment as my introduction to it and I'm glad it did! Their menu is very straightforward- all they serve is birria so I figured it must be done right. I ordered the quesabirria combo (essentially just two quesabirria tacos with consume). The food was ready within 10 minutes of my online order and when I picked up and drove back to work, the food was fresh and hot. The establishment is very small and clean. The meat is so tender and the tortillas were the perfect texture. The consume was a lot milder than I expected, but I jazzed it up with the spicy salsa, onion and cilantro that came on the side and it became the perfect juice to dip my tacos in. Would definitely recommend!!

Had some great goat birria tacos. Pretty affordable, very yummy. Service was great, staff were very friendly. Retro tile design was kinda cool. Definitely hope to be back and try more items!

100% if you are in Chicago- try the birrieria here! Small simple menu, but so much flavor! Menu was essentially a meat plate with tortillas or quesadilla style. I wish portions were bigger but prob just because it was so good. The cashier/server was friendly, thanked us for being there. It's a smaller corner restaurant with barstool style seating. I'm from out of state but would love to come back for more!

Oh em gee!!! First time I ever ate goat meat birria it was the juiciest and very well seasoned and it was not complete without the consome sauce. It is a very small space but definitely worth trying their food. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I saw them seasoning all the goat meat and they look so yummy. Yes I was in Chicago for this weekend and this one is highly recommended as well. Parking in Chicago is mostly side street and prepare to read signs and pay

10/10! Everything about this place was great - starting with the service to the cozy diner atmosphere. We weren't sure what to order, so we got a full run-down of the menu. We ended up getting the quesabirrias combo, the large plate, and a horchata. The quesabirrias were incredible, but the plate was even better. The meat was super tender and juicy. I usually feel like goat can be a bit gamey, but this was perfect. We also loved the horchata!

You're missing out if you don't go here. The goat birria is obviously the star here and it is made phenomenally. Looking for a little umph? Get the quesabirria tacos with consume, you won't regret. I live down the street and I'm so glad :D

This is a very busy happening place, and we decided to try it on a Friday night. All seats are stools against a counter- no tables or chairs, we thought we might have to wait or do takeout, but lucked out and grabbed the last 2 stools. The ambiance here lends itself to stepping back in time to a small, simple diner. It's true that the menu is limited, which asks you how would you like your roasted goat? They do one thing well, and word has spread.

The staff here is so friendly while still professional! I really like their horchata iced coffee (seriously, I'm always just like take all my money for this). An of course - the Quesabirria Combo (w/Consommé) is an absolute must. Make sure you add their hot sauce. SO GOOD. Always so satisfying. Sure you might think it's overpriced than your average taco spot but it's worth it.

I tried this spot out towards the end of my Chicago trip, so I was suffering from a bit of a food coma at this point. That said, the birria here is excellent. I got 2 quesabirrias and they were probably the best I've ever had. The tender meat was decadent and the tortillas (homemade I think) were nicely crisped. My only regret was I definitely should have ordered some consommé to dip them in. Next time I'll come with an emptier stomach and take down a larger order.

Compact counter shop serving amazing meat. The vibe of the joint is like eating at a diner sans hamburger. But that's where it stops. Instead of milkshakes, Horchata. The menu is streamlined and they do birria well, like I would rate it in my top 5 and that's without trying the consommé. Instead of beef you'll find in most taco trucks and restaurants, it's the other ruminant meat, Goat. I'm a fan of goat and mutton, but one bite and you wouldn't think it was it. The flavor is relatively mild despite having a pepper based marinade. The meat melts in your mouth. The tortillas are fresh pressed and cooked to order. Even the tortilla is delicious and has an amazing mouthfeel. Overall an amazing dining experience and worth the wait.
